This thermal printer cleaning pen is designed for use on thermal printers that have an accessible print head. In short, the printer can be easily opened and the print head itself is exposed. Adding a little pressure as you move the pen across the print head will gently scrub off the burnt on particles. The heat from the clean print head can then transfer to the print media. The cleaning pen barrel contains 99.7% IPA, the recommended cleaning solution by thermal printer manufacturers. It is recommended by thermal printer manufacturers to clean the print head with every change of paper or label stock for crisp printed material.
